The Voice for Locals initiative aligns with the principles of innovation, inclusion and sustainability laid out in the 10X economic vision by the Department for The Economy in Northern Ireland. Innovation introduced through this initiative will empower small businesses to make specific process improvements supported by data collected from use of emerging technology tools and skills offered to them. These tools & skills are complemented with timely personalised business & technical advice to improve ways of working & flexible delivery.

When you sign up for the programme, you will receive a call from an onboarding specialist. You can then set up a digital app for your business in under 10 minutes. You will be trained to digitally manage your business in a series of simple clicks. You will also be trained to collect critical data about your business and customers instantly. A welcome kit will be sent to you within 7 days. You will be given a contact number to call & seek personalised business & technical advice for your business.
After several weeks of familiarisation with running your business digitally, you will be enrolled into a practical e-learning course centred on customer experience management. With just 25% theory and about 75% assignments in the form of real-life implementation of the learning, this course is aimed at enabling you to be better placed to respond to any market uncertainties. The courses will be delivered in the form of engaging video tutorials with exciting quizzes, interactive assignments and a final assessment leading to your certification endorsed by the UK Government.
In time, by utilising the data collected from your digital tools, combining it with the insights acquired from the course and integrating the advice from your business & technology advisors, local businesses should be in a confident position to seek to innovate new processes to their firms.
